Settings Manager

The Settings Manager allows you to create, edit, and store settings for DEKSI USB Security clients. To start the Settings Manager click File > Settings Manager.

You will see the Settings Manager window.

  • Create - Create new settings for DEKSI USB Security clients.
  • Open - Open settings from a file.
  • Create - Edit settings.

To create new settings:

  • Click Create.
  • Enter a name for the settings and press Enter.
  • Select new settings in the list and click Edit.
  • You will see the Edit Settings window.
  • Edit the settings and click OK.
  • Click OK in the Settings Manager window to save the settings.

To edit settings:

  • Open Settings Manager.
  • Select the settings you need to edit and click Edit.
  • You will see the Edit Settings window.
  • Edit the settings for the DEKSI USB Security clients.
  • To set an access password for external devices, click the Set password button, enter and confirm the password.
  • To set up a white list of allowed devices for the clients, click Create List.
  • You will see the Device White List window.
  • Connect the device you need to add to the computer's white list.
  • Click the Add button.
  • You will see the Select Device window.
  • Select the required device in the list of devices and click the Add button. If you don't see the required device in the list, click the Refresh button or verify that the device is connected to the computer.
  • Click Close to close the Device White List Window.
  • Click OK in the Edit Settings window to save the settings.
