View Logs

DEKSI USB Security Service writes all operations carried out by external media to a log. The logs are stored locally on each computer where DEKSI USB Security Service is installed. To get the event log records:

  • Start the DEKSI USB Security Management Console from the Start menu.
  • Click File > View log file. You will see the View Client Logs window.
  • Under Computers, select the computers from which you need to get the log file and click OK.
  • The result of collecting DEKSI USB Security Service events, written in the log, is displayed in the main area of the program.

Note: You can also view the event logs manually through the Windows Event Viewer and the DEKSI USB Security Log.
